Registration:

Year:

1964

A classic frog with an interesting history, the car used to be a regular on the race track up at castle Combe back in the day, where I understand it was very successful however, for whatever reason it was superseded and having been stripped of all the race goodies it was left for several years until a local teacher from Bath, Barry Taylor rescued it and began to get it ready for the road again.

I was very good friends with Barry and when he moved to deepest darkest Cornwall he took the frog with him. Sadly Barry passed away recently and he left me the frog, although it didn’t look like it does today. So with the help of friends, we’ve rebuilt it to reflect its amazing heritage and race pedigree but at nearly 60 years old we think it deserves a quieter life.
