A Great Family Day Out
Last year, the public were treated to an extensive programme of parades, exhibitions, demonstrations and super car rides, alongside competitions, live music and family activities at the Bath Festival of Motoring and 2020 is already looking like being bigger and better than ever.
100s of Exhibits
The centrepiece of the festival is a wide-ranging display of classic, vintage, and veteran cars and motorcycles. Vehicle owners and motor enthusiasts from across the south west and beyond will gather to showcase their prize collections.
The theme for the 2020 festival is Past, Present & Future, which will feature some much talked-about electric models.
As well as the main display, parades will take place twice a day over the weekend in the central arena. Visitors will be able to see and hear the vehicles in all their glory, alongside detailed commentary about their histories.
Previous car club exhibitors include:
- Rally for Heroes
- Avon Valley Classic Mini Club
- Bath & Bristol Scoobys
- Norton Radstock Classic Vehicle Club
- The Fiat 500 Club
- The Triumph 2000 Register
- The Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club
- Camel Trophy Club & SAS Land Rovers
- The Wiltshire Stag Owners’ Club.
Our regular motorcycle exhibitors include

Every year, we are privileged to offer up to 30-minute rides in a range of high-powered supercars.
Vehicles vary from year to year, but visitors have previously enjoyed rides in an Aston Martin,
Lamborghini, Ferrari, Lotus Evora, and Porsche Carreras.
This is one of our most popular attractions, so please visit our stand and book early to avoid disappointment.
Prices vary – full details will be available on the day.
We are very grateful to the supercar owners who generously volunteer their time and vehicles to support our charity fundraising for this event.
Entertainment & Live Music
Alongside the main classic vehicle exhibition, we offer a range of fun activities to suit the whole family.
The Lansdown Model Flying Club will be displaying their radio-controlled model aircraft throughout the weekend, featuring a stunning collection of fixed-wing planes and model helicopters.

Face-painting, giant inflatable slides, rifle-shooting, and go-kart racing are among the attractions that have featured at past events.
Please note that activities may be subject to change.
There will be live music throughout the weekend from local bands and singers. The programme has previously featured Park Lane Big Band, close harmony singing group The Bellini Girls, and the acoustic folk band Don’t Tell Johnny.
Autojumble & Trade Stands
A firm favourite for all car and motoring enthusiasts, the auto-jumble has a vast array of parts, tools, and accessories for all your collecting needs.
Local businesses offer visitors the chance to browse artisan crafts, homemade gifts and collectibles, as well as a delicious selection of regional wines and delicacies.
