This car was specially commissioned in 1979 by the winner of the celebration of 50 years of MG car production in Abingdon and is a unique Right Hand Drive version of the American LE model finished in Black fitted with the American Boot Rack, special alloy road wheels and was on display in the Piccadilly Showroom before being returned to the Abingdon factory to have the special extras fitted and was collected from the factory by the first owner .
