A GREAT FAMILY DAY OUT

In previous years, the public was treated to an extensive programme of parades, exhibitions, demonstrations, and supercar rides. Alongside competitions, live music, and family activities at the Bath Festival of Motoring, 2023 is already looking like being bigger and better than ever.

100’s of exhibits

At the heart of the festival is a wide-ranging display of classic, vintage, and veteran cars and motorcycles. Vehicle owners and motor enthusiasts from across the South West and beyond will gather to showcase their prize collections.

As well as the main display, parades will take place twice a day over the weekend in the central arena. Visitors will be able to see and hear the vehicles in all their glory, alongside detailed commentary about their histories.

SUPERCAR RIDES

Every year, we are privileged to offer up to 30-minute rides in a range of high-powered supercars.

Vehicles vary from year to year, but visitors have previously enjoyed rides in an Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Lotus Evora, and Porsche Carreras.

This is one of our most popular attractions, so please visit our stand and book early to avoid disappointment.

Prices vary – full details will be available on the day.

We are very grateful to the supercar owners who generously volunteer their time and vehicles to support our charity fundraising for this event.

Autojumble &
Trade Stands

A firm favourite for all car and motoring enthusiasts, the auto-jumble has a vast array of parts, tools, and accessories for all your collecting needs.

Local businesses offer visitors the chance to browse artisan crafts, homemade gifts and collectibles, as well as a delicious selection of regional wines and delicacies.

Food & Drink

A tasty range of hot and cold food and drinks will be available to purchase onsite from street food vendors, ice cream stands, and good old-fashioned burger vans.

From hog roasts and wraps to waffles and donuts, we cater to all tastes and palates from morning coffee to afternoon cakes.

There will be numerous stalls selling bottled water, teas, coffees, and other refreshments throughout the weekend.

Lombard rally bath

We welcome the Lombard Rally back to Bath for the 6th time.

The Rally has attracted drivers from many counties and was considered the toughest in the World. The rally was frequently based in Yorkshire, but the sponsors wanted its base in other parts of the UK, and Bath was selected for 1976, 1980, 1983, and 1986.

West Wilts Society of model engineers

We are fortunate this year to welcome the West Wilts Society of Model Engineers, who will be offering rides on their portable steam train track.

The Old Arthouse

Our new header was this year was designed by Tom Glover at The Old Art House, we ask Tom how it all began, “In 2019, shortly after moving into my first home in part of a converted old school, I took a leap to leave my job and began following my passion for creating products, art, and working on design projects. I started taking commissions for whatever I could get my hands on and built my confidence, customer base, and skills”

“Over three years later, my art style has evolved to a point where lots of my work looks like old fashioned poster pieces. This, along with my “Old School” setting gives my business its name. A lot of my customers are local people and business owners wanting a poster-style portrait of their shopfronts, cars or houses. I love working with them and also work to create my own F1-themed artwork on the side!”

“My aim is to develop further, help other aspiring artists and keep creating the work I want to see!”

“I hope you enjoy some of my creations”

Prints of this year’s Bath Festival of Motoring design are available on his website or at the show.
