Triumphs venerable 500cc twin was the smaller variant of the larger capacity Bonneville.
The Daytona was considered the sports version of the range with twin carbs and better brakes.
That said, it’s still slow and the brakes are terrible when compared with modern bikes.
This bike has been in the same family since purchased in September 1969.
