This is my 1979 VW Nova. The Nova is a kit car based on a VW Beetle chassis, engine and gearbox.
Although the company would have sold you the fibreglass parts and you could build the car yourself, they would also produce and sell factory cars for those who wanted to pay the extra. We believe this is a factory built cars as it is registered as a Nova and has an age related plate not a ‘Q’.
After finding it partially in a barn and partially in a field back in 2007, between moving house and getting flooded it’s been on the road for almost 7 years and is one of around 15 road legal cars at present.
