Citroen C15 Romahome

Vehicle Reg No: R908TJO
Year: 1998

They were converted by Island Plastics on the Isle of Wight. Mine is a fixed high-top – some were hi-los. The engine is 1780 Diesel and very slow up hills. It is very cleverly designed inside. The beds can be 2 single or one double. Features include backrests which convert into tables, sink with tray over, 4 way fridge, gas grill and double hob, space for a small person over the cab, central heating, loo and a wardrobe. There is a large water tank, masses of storage and solar panels.
It is small enough to fit in a car park space. I wanted an Anglo-French name but Concorde would have been ironic! L’escargot would be more appropriate! Mine shares the “daily drive” with my 1991 Mini Neon. When my puppy is older I hope to do more camping trips.
