Jaguar E type series 1 3.8 litre

Built in late 1962 as a left hand drive car for the US the car was originally Opalescent Silver Blue with a fawn hood and red interior. She was repatriated in the 1990s , converted to rhd , sprayed red with the interior being re trimmed in black.
Lovingly cared for over many years, when the late owner died she was acquired by a dealer and underwent a full engine and gearbox rebuild along with sundry other works before being acquired by us in late 2023. As such we are only just getting to know “Effie “ but it’s the beginning of a rewarding relationship!
Her chassis number is 878474 and all her numbers match!
