Jaguar XK120 a record breaking car that was way ahead of its time.
on the 30th May 1949 , a prototype Jaguar XK120 achieved a production car speed record of 132.6mph, on the Ostend-Jabbeke motorway in Belgium, it was the fastest production car ever to acheive these speeds!

Recently, a very thorough video has been produced covering the details of the FHC that in 1952 drove 100 mph for 7 days and 7 nights.
I have owned this beautiful car for 8 years, it has been in my family for 69 years, my grandfather bought it when it was 6 years old, he used it and then left it at the bottom of the garden for a good few years until my Dad decided that he was going to restore it.
Over the next 10 years my Dad restored it and finally put it on the road in 1985, he took me to church in it on my wedding day!
My daughter also went to church in it on her wedding day in 2018.
It is a very sentimental car and I will never sell it, it will pass down to my two children!! I truly love driving this beautiful car!
