Original Barn Finds

We are pleased to announce that after popular requests “they” are back with us folks!

After being un-available to join last year’s festival we are very pleased to welcome the return to the stage of the – Original Barn Finds.

Five rusty specimens dusted off, restored and taken out for a spin.

These guys offer a foot-stomping range of songs which are sure to get toes tapping and people dancing along!
The band were really popular on their last visit and will be doing two sets between noon and 3 pm on Sunday 16th June. Be sure to get along to hear some great “banging tunes” and have some fun!

The Bellini Girls

Bath’s very own all-girl vocal harmony group with a difference. Since its launch, the group has performed at prestigious events, shows and parties right across the South West. With a vintage feel and all the glitz and elegance that goes with it. The Bellini Girls entertain with an entrancing mix of forties and fifties close-harmony classics, favourites from the sixties through to more contemporary numbers and big musical show stoppers.

It was over cocktails – Bellinis in fact – one spring evening in 2012 that the idea of the Bellini Girls was born. Having sung together and enjoyed each others’ company over a number of years in different formats, forming like-minded, glamour-loving girl group suddenly seemed the obvious way to go. This was just the beginning…

Sharing a passion for performing and a thirst for fun, thier on-stage energy is infectious. Combining sophisticated glamour with tight vocal harmonies to create instant audience appeal with a broad upbeat repertoire.

Park Lane Big Band

Based in Bath they have been playing as a band since 2000. Park Lane Big Band grew out of the Just In Time youth band; as the players became too old to play with them, Park Lane was born. A few friends were brought in to fill the gaps and two months after its first rehearsal the band stepped out for its first gig.

18 years on, they perform as a full-strength 18-piece band. Thier repertoire covers many different types of music, from the likes of Duke Ellington and Glenn Miller in the early days right up to the contemporary works of (among others) Gordon Goodwin and Tom Kubis.

In recent years the band has been on summer tours to Italy and Portugal, performing at both outdoor and indoor venues.

Steeple Rocks Choir

In September 2011 Adrienne Hale moved to the beautiful village of Steeple Ashton with her husband, Paul. After a conversation with the manager of The Longs Arms, a small advert was put up in the pub for anyone interested in joining a Rock Choir. The rest, as they say, is history. We are now over 80 members from people all over the area from Sutton Veny, Devizes, Westbury and all the surrounding villages. We meet every Monday at the village hall in Bratton and then go to the pub over the road for a beer, much to the delight of the Bass section! Fun is the ethos of the choir, getting together and singing in harmony and performing songs that appeal to everyone. Songs like Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder, Think from the film The Blues Brothers and the lovely ballad The Rose.

Fancy Biscuits

A high-calibre, high-energy funk and soul band, bringing a huge sound and party vibe.

Putting their unique twist on a trunk-full of funk, soul and disco classics, this 6-piece class act are guaranteed crowd-pleasers, with floor-fillers from the likes of Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and James Brown and tones inspired by modern-day funk heroes Scary Pockets and Vulfpeck.

Holding down the groove since 2009 are long-time brothers-in-funk Phil Mountifield on drums and Andy Edwards on bass.

Known for his love of fancy hats and spicy licks, Steve ‘Guitar’ Arnold completes the band’s rhythm section and brings the magic on lead.

James Stanton’s soulful sax adds punch and power to the mix, and with vocal power-house and soul-sensation Lou Ruddell at his side, the inimitable Richard Friend leads from the front on guitar and vocals.

With their tight sound and charismatic presence, it’s a line-up that never fails to impress – smashing out tune after tune to keep the party going long into the night.

Steve West

I have always loved singing and in 2006 I decided I needed a new hobby and joined the celebrated Bath Male Choir under the direction of Grenville Jones. We were finalists in the 2008 BBC TV Show Last Choir Standing singing for millions of Saturday night BBC1 viewers. After some years of singing with the choir I then decided I would like to also sing on my own. I have sung in a variety of venues – including pubs, social clubs, restaurants and private parties, charity nights, etc.

Prospect Style

Formed by Maddy Paterson in 2013, with the sole intention of making and performing great music, Prospect Style is seven experienced musicians, playing an unexpectedly eclectic, toe-tappingly joyful mix of music. Based in Bath, they are professional, accomplished, and a lot of fun!

They have a rock sound but also play a range of truly great classics such as ‘Wonderwall,’ ‘The Tide is High,’ and contemporary hits by performers like George Ezra and Passenger.

Purple Fish

A great live band based in the South West will really get you rocking!

Sassia and The Tom Cats

Sassia and The Tom Cats is a female fronted band, Bristol-based, 4-piece band specialising in dance focussed, soulful vintage and contemporary blues.
