Allard K Type

SH8990 is an Allard K type that has been used in hill climbs and other competitive events for the last 40 years at least. Not to any great levels of achievement but consistent in its presence with Dave Loveys at many familiar hills and events, such as the Berwick Trial and the Beamish Reliability. After Dave passed on Jon Langley and Geoff Pinch have tried to continue the car’s legacy and evolve it to fulfil Dave’s long held desire to supercharge the flathead V8. In 2026 we have achieved this and are now grappling with the realities of making the car as reliable as it used to be.
