Aston Martin Vantage Hero AMR

Vehicle Reg No: WF70 BAD
Year: 2020

An example of a rare Aston Martin AMR. One of only 200 produced, and is finished in Sabiro Blue Metallic paint (unique to the AMR variant I believe) and with Lime trim and brake callipers for a pop of vibrancy to really accentuate this car’s sportiness. Features the “dark knight” interior with similar pops of lime to keep the colour theming consistent between interior and exterior.

This example also has extensive carbon fibre hardware, including the grille surround and splitter, side skirts, and rear bumper. This is also continued inside with carbon fibre trim found around the interior such as centre console and dash.

The main thing that differs the AMR from the standard Vantage is that it comes as standard with carbon ceramic brakes, a mechanical limited slip differential and, excitingly, a manual gearbox. All this means it’s around 100kg lighter than the standard Vantage! Paired with the AMG twin turbo V8, this thing is a pure driver’s car and very much appeals to those who want that traditional interaction that’s perhaps missing a bit with an automatic shifter.

An absolute “brute in a suit” of a car, sophisticated and classy at times, but will rip your head off if you aren’t careful with that gearbox, that torque, and that rear wheel drive! But, that makes it a total blast to drive, a wonderful machine!
