A very slow vanity project!
Imported from California in 2018, so it is left-hand drive with sun damage but very little rain-caused rust.
I have taken the decision not to restore the bodywork to the original shiny showroom colour, rather to let the patina reflect its age in an original and stylish way.
The engine and electrics are now working superbly, and I use her almost daily for commuting and short runs – a very smooth experience.
The interior is next on the list, and I have had the flooring rewelded wherever necessary and the carpeting replaced with black rubber matting, for durability. Next on the list are the seat upholstery and the dashboard, and then she will be perfect!
