Bike details
Purchased in 2017 from a Lady owner in North Wales. The bike was originally exported to the USA and was once blue. There is a possibility that it was built in Police Specification as it has a single large speedometer rather than twin clocks. It was fitted with a Watsonian GP 700 Sidecar by a previous owner and was purchased so that my late wife who suffered from MS could continue to enjoy motorcycling and we enjoyed a number trips out with her wheelchair attached to bike carrier on the towbar. An electric seat lift was later fitted to the “chair” to assist in getting in and out of the sidecar. The bike was restored in 2019/20 but the sidecar is still awaiting restoration as my wife’s condition worsened and was no longer able to access it.
