I have owned the car since 1985, when it was the daily drive. Restoration work focused on the base unit, but many parts have been repaired/renovated over the years. The car had a respray about a decade ago.
I learnt to drive in a P6 and somehow the desire to own one became a necessity. They are a joy to drive. You can see all four corners, it does not bleep or bong at you all the time and above all, you can service and look after it yourself. No software updates, apart from the seat fabric!
